Spirit Warriors Hockey:
The Spirit Warriors Hockey Program was created for disabled Veterans providing a therapeutic, educational, and developmental setting through the sport of hockey in a healthy atmosphere. We are a 501C3 non-profit organization, our goal is to keep the cost free or minimal for disabled veterans. Veterans are welcome to join the program with or without any prior hockey experience. All Veterans are welcome to come practice, skate and participate in non-sanction tournaments and games without a VA rating. To participate in USA Hockey Warrior Division sanctioned games or tournaments you must meet the requirements with a Purple Heart or VA rating of 10% or greater.

Veterans. Warriors. Teammates.

Membership is more than a jersey. It’s a family
The Spirit Warrior Hockey Organization is a 501c3 nonprofit organization based in the Tri City Area. We serve Veterans in the Midland, Bay City Saginaw, and Central Michigan area.
We are partnered with the Saginaw Spirit of the OHL and practice and play at the Dow Event Center in Saginaw.
To Become a member of our Team and to compete in the Warrior Hockey Discipline, participants must have a discharge under honorable conditions with the ability to provide official documentation from their designated branch of service.
USA Hockey’s Warrior Hockey Discipline is dedicated to injured and disabled US Military Veterans who have served our country and play the sport of ice hockey. As one of the Disabled Hockey Section’s newest disciplines, Warrior Hockey is quickly growing across the country. While some of the participants played hockey prior to being injured, many try it for the first time for therapeutic reasons.
Fill out the information listed on the Become a member section and someone will contact you from the Team Staff.
